	Interstate 64 Bridge Replacements, Institute to Dunbar, Kanawha County, WV (WVDOT) SITE-BLAUVELT provided construction inspection services to the WVDOT, Division of Highways, during the widening of four sets of twin bridge structures from 4 to 6 lanes between the Institute and Dunbar Interchanges on Interstate 64. The work included the removal of existing bridge decks, the addition of one additional pier column and footer at each set of existing pier columns, widening of I-64 on approach to the structures, and the extension of existing pier caps to tie-in to the new pier columns. The work was completed along a high-speed (70 mph) corridor that carries a heavy volume of traffic.
