	Milton Covered Bridge, Cabell County, WV SITE-BLAUVELT Engineers was retained by the WVDOH to develop the restoration plans for this 116 ft. single-span historic covered bridge that originally spanned the Mudd River. However, due to its deteriorated state, the WVDOH decided to move the structure to a local park where it would span a small pond and be used for pedestrian traffic only. Our work consisted of developing plans to move the superstructure (trusses only) and substructure (cut stone), and replacement of the floor, siding, roof, and approach roadway.
