	Technical Support Services Contract - Precast/Prestressed Concrete Fabrication Plant Inspection, Northeast United States SITE-BLAUVELT Engineers has been contracted by the New York State Department of Transportation to provide quality-assurance inspection and testing services at approved precast and prestressed fabrication plants throughout NY, NJ, VT, VA, CT, OH and PA, which supply concrete products for NYSDOT projects. The products being produced under this 3-year contract include prestressed I-beams, box beams, three-sided culverts, and concrete deck slabs (quad tees), as well as such precast items as box culverts, median barrier, noise barrier, concrete pavers and RCC pipe. Typical duties assumed by our staff include ensuring adherence to plant QA/QC programs, observation of production methods to ensure that they are in accordance with applicable standards and specifications, material sampling and verification, equipment calibration, monitoring of product storage and shipping procedures, and the completion of all required NYSDOT plant documentation.
